Lauren was born a planner with her passion for event planning beginning in her early high school years coordinating various events for friends and family. After graduating with a Psychology degree from Eastern Michigan University and having taken many event planning classes at the New York Institute of Art and Design, Lauren embarked on her dream journey of owning her own event planning company.
She has always loved planning events and when she got her first job at 16, Lauren knew she wanted to own an event planning company. She is as organized as you can get - her closet is organized by sleeve length and color and she plans everything from weddings to vacations.
Her experience working in the hospitality industry for 10 years in various roles and various settings, has provided ample opportunities to refine and master the particulars of event planning. As the founder and lead planner of Detroit Social Co., planning events is not just a job, it is her passion. With a creative side and an eye for design, Lauren is dedicated to making your event everything you imagined and more!
In her spare time, Lauren loves to travel, read & research, + spend time with her niece and nephew.
