Emily Rose Chene is a mama, wife, photographer, and storyteller who believes deeply in the quiet power of memory. A graduate of the Hallmark Institute of Photography with highest honors (2014), she has spent the past 12 years running her husband-wife photography team, Emily Rose Imagery, alongside her husband Sean - her second shooter, assistant, and right-hand partner. Together, they also lead ERI Creative, a full-service creative agency specializing in branding, commercial, and visual storytelling for businesses and entrepreneurs.
Based in Milan, Michigan, Emily captures life in Southeast Michigan and beyond, always welcoming the opportunity to travel. At home, she and Sean are raising their three little ones - two fiery redheads and a sweet brown-haired baby boy - who remind her daily of just how sacred and fleeting each season of life really is.
Emily’s photography style is rooted in fine art tradition: timeless, warm, and filled with emotion. Whether she’s photographing a newborn, a family, or a new product launch, her goal is always the same - to create images that make you feel something.
Her love for photography was first sparked by her dad, who placed a camera in her hands when she was barely big enough to hold it. What began as a fascination quickly became a calling: to preserve beauty and connection not only for her own family, but for others as well.
When she’s not behind the lens, Emily is with her husband and kids - going on walks, exploring new towns, discovering fun places to play, or spending time with extended family. And of course, she’s capturing every moment along the way.
