Meet this two year old business owner of Laurel Smith Photography, she is a mother to three spirited littles under 4 years old and wife to her best friend. Laurel loves being a mother and wife. It truly gives meaning to her everyday, and inspires her to seek the joy in the simple things. Her family loves traveling and exploring outside. She also loves to decorate her home, cook, and play the violin!

Laurel previously worked in the boutique finance industry with her degree in finance (an unusual love for a good spreadsheet!) and feels that she has found her perfect fit in a career that requires both an analytical and creative mindset. She feels so blessed to have found her passion in photography. Laurel is in love with the fact that she can witness a moment of simple beauty and emotion and sculpt it into a timeless work of art. She believes there is so much beauty in the early years and specializes in motherhood photography.

 

Family is of utmost importance to her. Following that, she also values simplicity, intentionality, authenticity, and the unhindered beauty in the details. Laurel loves working with clients who are passionate about their story, who like to try new things, and love to make memories of the simple moments spent with their most important people.
