Nazneen Hasan

Nazneen S. Hasan is an Attorney in the Bloomfield Hills, Michigan office of Dykema. Ms. Hasan focuses her practice on taxation and advising clients on trust and estate issues. Ms. Hasan provides comprehensive estate planning advice to clients of all backgrounds including small business-owners providing assistance with proper entity set-up and taxation. Ms. Hasan is a fearless litigator in matters involving Guardianship and Conservatorship for Protected Individuals and contested matters involving probate and trust litigation matters.

Prior to joining Dykema, Ms. Hasan was a Vice President and Senior Fiduciary Advisor at a private wealth management company, serving the needs of ultra high net worth individuals and families. Ms. Hasan began her career as an Estate and Business planning attorney in private practice in 2009. Shortly after joining the firm, Ms. Hasan managed the Estate and Trust Administration Department in addition to her existing estate and business planning practice. Ms. Hasan 's pro bono practice centers on immigration matters associated with victims of human trafficking and providing estate plans for Michigan's First Responders.

Ms. Hasan is a recipient of the Certificate for Probate and Estate Planning co-sponsored by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Probate Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Additionally, Ms. Hasan is a member of the Probate Council for the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and is on the Section's Amicus Committee. She is also a member of the Business law Section, and Taxation Section of the State Bar of Michigan.

Ms. Hasan has an LL.M in Taxation from Western Michigan University, Cooley School of Law, where she also obtained her Juris Doctor Degree. Ms. Hasan was the Managing Editor of the Journal of Practical and Clinical Law at the Law School.

Ms. Hasan has been repeatedly selected as a speaker on behalf of the State Bar of Michigan in its campaign to empower and educate senior citizens in making sound estate planning decisions. Ms. Hasan has presented for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) on several occasions, and serves on ICLE's Probate and Estate Planning Advisory Board.

Ms. Hasan is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association, the South Asian Bar Association, and the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan (WLAM).

Ms. Hasan has been an attorney since 2009. When she's not ferociously advocating for her clients, Ms. Hasan enjoys spending time with her family in Boston and practicing Bikram Yoga.
